Hyundai developed the Grand i10 in India, launched it in 2013 before exporting it to the European market
The Hyundai Grand i10 is available in two variants: Magna and Sportz. CNG is only available in the base Magna trim level
The Grand i10 has been designed to be in line with Hyundai’s fluidic design philosophy.
The hexagonal grille and the large pulled back headlamps dominate the front end of the Grand i10
The curvy lines flow smoothly from the front to the back while its profile gets enhanced thanks to the diamond cut alloy wheels
At 256 litres, the Hyundai Grand i10’s boot space is the largest in its class, which means it can pack enough luggage for a long weekend trip
As far as driving dynamics are concerned, the softly setup suspension of the Grand i10 gives it a great ride quality, however the downside of it is evident in it handling
The large one-piece hexagonal grille, the swept back headlamps and the circular fog lamps come in perfect union to give the front end a complete look
The top-spec Asta variant of the Grand i10 comes with 14-inch allow wheels that come fitted with 165/65 section tyres
The lower variants get similar sized tyres but with 14-inch rims
The interior of the Hyundai Grand i10 is really well out together
Cabin gets dual tone colour scheme, the dashboard has an elementary design and a radical centre console with large temperature dials placed beneath integrated music system
The dual-tone cabin inside the Hyundai Grand i10 new model feels airy and the steering wheel feels nice to hold too
The front Seats are wide but could have been a bit better bolstered
Knee and leg room at the back is good and It also gets rear AC vents
The i10 is equipped with a 7-inch infotainment screen with voice recognition, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay
Other highlights include manual AC, tilt-adjustment for steering wheel, cooled glovebox, and keyless entry.
The Grand i10 has dual airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors with reversing camera, and impact-sensing door unlocking.
The Hyundai Grand i10 is offered with petrol and diesel engine options
The petrol motor displaces 1,197cc from which it pumps 81bhp and 114Nm
The diesel in the other hand is a 3-pot 1,120cc motor which makes 70bhp and 160Nm
The 5-speed manual transmission is smooth and precise
The Hyundai Grand i10 petrol efficiency is 18.9kmpl while the diesel returns 24kmpl
The Hyundai Grand i10 with the automatic transmission returns an efficiency of 16.95kmpl, which, is somewhat of a bummer for the Hyundai Grand i10 on-road price and the respective segment.
