The Maruti Dzire new model is based on the Heartect platform and all-new body which has been designed to be lightweight, and offer the most amount of cabin space as possible which can seat up to 5 passengers.
The interior cabin of the Dzire has an all-new layout with a dual-tone colour scheme on the dashboard and door panels.
The Dzire now features the Smartplay Studio Infotainment System with Navigation and Voice Command with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, leather-wrapped steering wheel, satin chrome accents on the console, gear lever and steering wheel
The latest generation Maruti Dzire features 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre diesel motor, both of which have been carried over from the earlier generation.
The second generation Dzire offered a choice of a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic transmission for the petrol engine option.
Both the models of the latest car are available with 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT automatic transmissions for the diesel and petrol engine options.
It outputs a maximum power of 83 PS along with a peak torque of 113 Nm.
The diesel variant is powered by the tried-and-tested Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre turbocharged unit that pumps out 75 PS and 190 Nm.
The petrol version of the Maruti Dzire, which is powered by a 1.2-litre K-series engine delivers an ARAI-certified mileage of 22 kmpl for both manual and AMT versions
In the city, one can easily extract up to 16 kmpl, while on the highways, it can effortlessly deliver up to 20 kmpl.
The diesel version is even better in this aspect,with an ARAI-tested mileage of 28.4 kmpl, it’s among the most fuel-efficient sedans in the country.
It can easily deliver up to 18 kmpl in the city and around 22 kmpl on the highway.
The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has a very comfortable ride as it features a McPherson Strut suspension at the front, and a torsion beam set up at the rear
